Waterbedrijf Groningen presented validation and application of BIT services at IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition
Eddy Postmus from Waterbedrijf Groningen presented his article "The validation and application of an in line inspection technique for cast iron transport pipelines" at the IWA World Water Congress and Exhibition in Busan, 17. september 2012.
The article covers an exhaustive analysis of our condition assessment services that was performed in 2009 and 2010. It then goes on to describe an inspection we performed in Groningen, upon which Waterbedrijf Groningen could decide that a 7700 meter long transport pipeline would last long enough to defend the investment in and upgrade of an old distribution pumping station.
