The new inspection has been carried out in Iceland
At the end of August 2018, Breivoll Inspection Technologies AS performed an in-line inspection of district heating pipes (diameters 400-600 mm and length 6 km, mostly laid in 1960) for Veitur company in Reykjavik (Iceland).
In order to reduce the pipeline failure and to save money servicing of the pipeline, the utility decided to carry out the inspection and the results will be further used for making decisions whether to replace, renew or to keep the pipes as they are (if they are in a good condition).
